I’ve been using an iPad as a second monitor for my Macbook for some time now, and tried out a number of applications to achieve that. One of the ones that didn’t make the grade was Desktop Streamer. When I wanted to delete it, I got the following error message:
MacOS: Unable to remove application
This error persisted, regardless of reboots and shutting down software, and was in general making a nuisance of itself. The fact that it automatically started when rebooting put me on the right track, though. As it turned out, when installing, the app was automatically added to the list of login items. Once I’d removed it from there, uninstalling was a breeze.
